| Rhiannon Gresty All American is pleased to announce Rhiannon Gresty has joined our staff for the upcoming 2011-2012 season! Rhiannon was primarily raised in West Brookfield, MA, where she first started her lifelong passion at Betty Gunderson's Studio of Dance at the age of 6. Since then, she has been dancing consistently for over 26 years. After graduating high School in 1996, Rhiannon began studying the art of dance at Jeanette Neil's Dance Studio in Boston, MA, and continued her training at Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps On Broadway in New York, NY. In 1998, Rhiannon played an extra in the motion picture film, For Love of the Game, and continued this feat through 1999 with movies such as, Soul Survivors, Save the Last Dance, and The Visitor. Also, at age 20, she began her professional career as a Tap Girl for Anita Mann Productions in Tunica, MS, and later performed for organizations such as Cedar Point Amusement Park, Busch Gardens Theme Park, Sesame Street Live, and the Scotia Prince Cruise Line. Rhiannon lead all performers aboard the Scotia Prince as their Dance Captain/Choreographer. In 2003, Rhiannon chose to focus on teaching others what she has truly desired for almost 20 years of her life. Rhiannon began teaching at Putnam Dance Center in Putnam, CT, and later continued her venture with Kara Anderson Dance Studio in North Brookfield, MA, Debbie Sichol's Dance Center in Southbridge, MA, Sally McDermott Dance Centers in Auburn, MA, Colby Academy of Dance in Ware, MA, and Betty Gundersen's studio of dance in West Brookfield, MA. Rhiannon added to her professional dance career in 2004 as a Judge for regional and national competitions and conventions with such organizations as Applause Talent Competition from Hamilton, OH, Ticket to Broadway Convention from Andover, MA, Dynamite Talent Convention from Hartford, CT, and sophisticated Productions from Westfield, MA. Rhiannon's got some great things planned for All American Dance Academy this season and we're glad to welcome her aboard! |
